Founded in 2009 by designer Michelle Scott, Pretty Eccentric was born from a love affair with vintage fashion — the sparkle, the silhouette, the unmistakable drama — all brought sashaying, beaded, and beautiful into the now. Her mission has always been clear: to reignite the lost art of dressing up with clothing and accessories exquisitely designed to outlive fleeting trends. Michelle’s fashion roots run deep, with her early years in the buying and design team of Whistles, during Louise Trotter's tenure (now Creative Director at Bottega Veneta), where she honed an eye for detail and a flair for timeless design.
The collections she creates are unapologetically feminine yet effortlessly cool, blending retro prints, intricate beading, luxurious velvets, and a whisper of sparkle. Each piece is an invitation to transformation — part vintage dream, part modern statement. It’s no surprise that Pretty Eccentric has become the label of choice for red carpet moments and landmark occasions. From Royal Garden Parties to the BAFTAs, the Mercury Prize to the Academy Awards, the BRITs to the Tonys, Michelle’s designs have dressed women for some of the world’s most glamorous events.
